Legend #1 - Graham Keightley.
Graham Keightley, is a true legend of the Angaston Bowling Club.  An enthusiastic and influential bowler, Graham represented the Angaston Bowling Club for 70 years in the Barossa & Light Bowling Association, retiring in the 2007/2008 season.
He has a significant association with the club as his father Douglas Keightley was the instigator and a founding member of the Angaston Bowling Club, which was officially opened for the 1922 season.  Graham played his first season of bowls in 1938 and has been a member ever since.  He has held many positions in the club including President, Club Champion and and is now a Life Member and Club Patron.
Graham played 1st Division for decades, being a skipper for 17 years.  During his career he has played in nine 1st Division premierships, three Division 2 premierships and one Division 3 Premiership.  His had band is covered with 8 and 50 badges.
Graham is famous for his love of lawn bowls and Barossa red wines. It has become a tradition to open a bottle of good red to celebrate a successful day on the green or just to celebrate in general.
Graham is a respected, popular and supportive member of the bowling fraternity; a gentleman with a healthy sense of humour and who is very competitive on the green.  He is a great example of how lawn bowls should be played.
